We understand that you are probably very busy and not always able to be sitting at home waiting for us. We strive to be at every assessment in less than 90 minutes. If you're needing to set it up for later that day or later in the week, we're happy to accommodate! During the assessment, we'll walk you through everything we're seeing with our specialized equipment. Obviously while we're there, we're hoping to provide you with peace of mind and assure you that there is no real damage to the home. If there are damages that need to be addressed, we're happy to sit down and explain the mitigation process to you and go over what the work may cost. We're happy to provide a rough ball park for best-case and worst-case scenarios if you're looking for an out of pocket price or if you'd rather use your insurance, we're happy to sit down with you and make that call so we can provide your insurance company with all info, plans and contact info they'll need. We will make sure to be their main point of contact throughout the project to alleviate any stress on your side.
During this part of the process, we will be removing, sanitizing and drying out all affected areas found during the initial assessment. If the job scope gets any bigger than what was initially discussed, we will stop work and make sure you and your insurance company are well informed. After the removal and sanitizing part of the work, we will leave behind equipment to run continuously to dry out the framing and surrounding building materials of the home as efficiently as possible. During that time, we will schedule time windows with you daily to come by and check on the equipment to pick it up as soon as possible. After everything is all dry and picked up, we will get you set up with a project manager to go over the reconstruction.
During the entire process, we never want you to feel like you're alone. If you are trusting us to take care of you and your home, we want to make sure everything is as streamlined as possible. We will plan on completing both sides of the work for you (mitigation and reconstruction) unless instructed otherwise. If we can not complete the work ourselves, we will make sure we have reputable recommendations for you. We always want you to be informed. It is definitely a process, but we will always be sure to keep you in the loop and aware of timelines.
